Germany camp surprised by doping tests

Fourteen Germany players underwent doping tests at a random control carried out at the squad's pre-World Cup training camp in northern Italy.

Officials from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) arrived at the team's base in South Tyrol on Wednesday, forcing the German football federation to delay a scheduled news conference.
The controls came as coach Joachim Loew had his full available squad -now numbering 25 - available for the first time with arrival of the three remaining Bayern Munich players.
